Introduction
JENNIFER TUGUINAY PUN-ADWAN, a 35-year-old married to a 39-year-old farmer and blessed to have 3 children ages 8 to 12 from Lagawe, Ifugao. She is the second child among her 4 siblings. Her 50-year-old father works as a farmer while her 60-year-old mother is a simple housewife. She accomplished her secondary education at Ayangan National High School year 1996 and afterwards took a Midwifery course but didn�t manage to finish due to some circumstances. She had her maid employment experience in the Philippines from 1997 and served a Filipino family for more than 3 years and then she was selected to work in Singapore and served two families for a few months. Currently she is focusing in taking care of her children and doing housekeeping duties for her family while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) This applicant claims to be proficient in performing general housework like cleaning, washing clothes, dish washing, and ironing. As a mother, she is familiar in handling infant and able to supervise for their needs. She is also confident in taking care of young children and capable in performing its basic duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school things and uniform, playing with them, helping with their homework and bringing and fetching them to and from school. She is also looking after her 60-year-old disable mother and she was in-charge in preparing food, feeding, helping when going to toilet, giving assistance when walking, and supervising her other needs. As to cooking, she has skill in simple and basic cooking. She can prepare and cook Filipino and simple Indian food and determined to learn more especially in cooking other foreign cuisine.
2) Philippines (Jun 1997 � Mar 2000) served a Filipino family living in a bungalow house with 3 children ages 6-month-old to 7. She is mainly responsible in looking after the 6-month-old child and performing basic infant care duties such as preparing soft meals and feeding, bathing, changing of its clothes and diaper, playing, sterilizing baby utensils and attending for its other needs. She is also doing household chores during her free time. She decided to look other job opportunity after serving the family for almost 3 years.
3) Singapore (Jun � Sep 2012) served a Filipino family living in a 3-bedroom condominium flat with a newborn child. She worked as an all-around maid for the family and she is responsible in doing daily chores and supervising the needs of the child. Then she worked for an Indian-Filipino family living in a 3-bedroom condominium flat with a 5-year-old child. Same with her previous employment, she is in-charge in doing daily cleaning, washing and ironing of their clothes, doing the dishes, marketing and other chores as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also accountable sending and fetching them to and from school and attending for its other needs.
