Introduction
MARICEL DOMINGO VARGAS, a 29-year-old married to a 28-year-old farmer/driver and blessed to have a 6-year-old child from Cauayan City, Isabela. She is the third child among her 3 siblings. Her 56-year-old father works as a farmer while her 56-year-old mother is a simple housekeeper. She completed her secondary education at San Antonio National High School and graduated year 2000 and afterwards took a diploma course in Hotel Restaurant and Management at Isabela State University and graduated year 2002. She previously worked as a surveyor for a month, a service crew for a year, a cashier for 6 months and a sales clerk in a photo shop for 7 months. She had her maid employment experience in Middle East from 2008 and served two families for almost 2 years. Currently she is taking care of her child and doing chores for her family while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) This applicant claims to be hardworking and an honest person. She is knowledgeable in doing daily household chores such as doing the laundry, pressing clothes, washing the dishes, maintaining the cleanliness of the whole house and marketing. She has skills in cooking Filipino food and interested to learn more especially in cooking other foreign kinds of dishes. As a mother and based on her previous working experience in the Middle East, she is confident in taking care of infant and she is able to prepare their milk, feed them soft food, bathing, changing their clothes and diaper, sterilize baby utensils and checking their body temperature. She can also handle young children and capable in performing basic child care duties and attending their other needs as well. She is also open with the opportunity in taking care of elderly person and prepared to be trained in giving them direct nursing care when necessary. She is also willing to do basic gardening, car washing and able to give care for pets when needed.
2) United Arab Emirates (Feb 2008 � Feb 2009) worked for an Arab family living in a 2-storey residential house. She is employed as an all-around maid for the family and she is mainly responsible in doing everyday cleaning, keeping the house in order, cooking for the family and doing other housekeeping duties that needed to be done daily. She went back home after serving the family for a year.
3) Kuwait (May 2012 � Mar 2013) served a Kuwaiti family living in a 4-storey residential house with children ages 1 to 12. There are 8 housemaids working for the family including her and she is mainly responsible in doing daily domestic duties and taking care of the 2 children ages 4 months old and 16 months old. She is accountable in performing basic infant to child care duties such as changing its clothes and diaper, preparing their milk, sterilizing baby utensils and attending their other needs as well. She went back to Philippines after serving the family for almost a year due to family emergency.
4) As she has working experience of almost 2 years overseas other than Singapore as she only needs to take the POEA processing in Philippines. She can be deployed faster than new as she will not undergo the one week in house training in Philippines. Recommended salary to be S$525.00
