Daryati, 34, Divorced with 1 kid, is the eldest in her family. She first came to Singapore to work in 2004 for a Chinese family with sir, madam, 2 children 1 & 3 years old and grandma staying in a bungalow. She took care of the children, giving them milk, feeding, changing diapers etc even at night. She also did the household chores. As for cooking, she did it together with grandma. After 10 mths, she felt homesick and went home. However, for her subsequent jobs, she was no longer homesick. She had completed a 2 year contract with a Chinese family with a 1 year old son, staying in a flat. She also took care of the baby at night. She has also worked together with another Indonesian maid for 1 year 8 months with a Chinese foreigner staying in a condo. They have a 1 month old baby daughter. She is very experienced in babycare. Another family that she worked almost 2 years also have a 17 month old baby boy. She is currently working for a Chinese employer with 2 teenage children staying in a 2 storey condo since Oct'2012. She is in charge of household chores, washing, ironing and cooking. She can cook various soup, stir fry mixed vegetables, steam fish, curry, rendang, fried noodles, fried beehoon etc. She changed employer as she slept in the living room and her employer watched TV till late hours. She can speak English and a little Mandarin. She is currently working for a Chinese employer and her employer praises her for having good attitude.
