Introduction
CATHERINE AVILA ABONG, a 30-year-old married to a 33-year-old welder and blessed to have 3 children ages 6 to 8 from Taguig, Metro Manila. She is the third child among her 5 siblings. Her 56-year-old mother is a simple housewife but her father already passed away. She completed her secondary education at Assumption Academy and graduated year 2000 and afterwards took a Computer Based Accountancy Course at AMA Computer Learning Center and graduated year 2004. She previously worked as an agent in a business solution company for 5 months, a promo merchandiser for 5 months, a food attendant in a fast food restaurant for 6 months and a telemarketing specialist in a publication company for more than a year. Currently she is taking care of her children and doing chores for her family while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) This applicant claims to be a hardworking, a trustworthy person and has initiative in doing work. Based on her own experience in doing chores for her family, she can be considered to be well-verse and proficient in doing general household chores such as pressing clothes, doing the laundry, marketing, washing the dishes and keeping the house in order. She has knowledge in cooking Filipino food and still keen to learn more especially in preparing other foreign dishes. As a mother of 3, she is familiar in handling infant and able to attend for their needs. she is also confident in taking care of young children and capable to perform its basic duties such as feeding, bathing, playing with the children, giving assistance for their homework, organizing their school things and uniform and bringing and fetching them to and from school. She experienced taking care of 86-year-old who has high blood pressure for 8 years. She is accountable in preparing its food, feeding, assisting when bathing and giving its daily medication. Aside from these duties, she can also do basic gardening, car washing and able to give care for pets when needed.
2) Though no formal experience as maid in Philippines she considers herself experience as she does all the housework such as cleaning the house laundry, cooking and others in their household. She also experienced caring her children, younger brother & sister, nieces and nephews, neighbor�s children and cooks for the family. Upon confirmation she will undergo intensive in house training in an accredited center in Manila and POEA training and processing prior to deployment to Singapore prior. Recommended salary S$500.00.
