Introduction
MYRA DIOLON MATEO, a 33-year-old mother of 2 children ages 7 and 11 from Bulacan. She is the fifth child among her 6 siblings. Her 73-year-old father is unemployed while her 68-year-old mother is a simple housewife. She finished and completed her secondary education at Paradise High School and graduated year 1997. She previously worked as a sales lady for more than 4-years and a service crew in a burger shop from 6-months. She had her maid employment experience in Philippines from 2001 and sered 2-filipino employers. She was given a oppurtunity to work in Singapore and had a maid employment ecperience from 2012 and served 2-employers a Chinese and Indian family. Currently she is working as a therapist while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) As an experienced helper, she can be considered to be well-verse and proficient in doing some house managements task such as pressing clothes, doing the laundry, washing the dishes, marketing and keeping the house in order. She has knowledge in preparing Filipino, simple Indian and Western food and interested to learn more especially in cooking other foreign cuisine if she will be given the chance. As a mother of 2, she is confident enough in taking care of infant and able to attend their basic needs such as preparing milk, feeding baby food, change their clothes and diaper, sterilizing baby utensils and checking their body temperature. She can also handle young children and able to perform basic child care duties. She is willing to look after mobile elderly person and open with the opportunity to be trained in giving them direct nursing care when necessary.
2) Philippines (2001 - 2002 / 2006 - 2007) worked for a Filipino family living in a 3-bedroom bungalow house with newborn baby and 4-year-old young child. She was an all-around maid wherein she was responsible in maintaining the cleanliness of the house and doing household chores, cooking, and attending to the needs of the 4-year-old child. Then in 2006, she was hired to serve another Filipino Family living in a 2-bedroom apartment with 2-young children ages 2 and 13-year-old. Like her previous employer she was an all-around housemaid maintaining the cleanliness of the house, cooking and taking care of the needs of the childrens.
3) Singapore (May 2012 � December 2012 / December 2012 - August 2013) worked for a Chinese family living in a 4-bedroom HDB flat with 3 children ages 5 to 8 and 3 elderly. Her duties were more focused in doing household chores and attending the needs of the elderly. She is also liable in looking after the children and sending and fetching them to and from school.On December 2012 she served an Indian family living in a 3-bedroom condominium flat with a 12-year-old child. Same with her previous employment, she is working as an all-around maid for the family and responsible in doing general household chores such as washing and ironing of clothes, doing the dishes, cleaning the whole house, marketing, cooking and other house errands as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member.
4) Employment History of the maid from MOM records available for prospective employer�s reference and verification. Maids can be interviewed by phone upon request. She can be deployed faster than the rest as they don�t require training, only the POEA Training and processing for Filipino Household Service worker for Overseas. Recommended salary is S$525.00 and above
