Introduction
LYSE PLIEGO APAO, a 30-year-old mother of 3-year-old child from Magdum, Tagum City. She is the second to the eldest child among her 4 siblings. Her 72-year-old father works as a driver while her 60-year-old mother is a plain housewife. She finished her secondary education at Rizal Memorial College graduate year 1999 and Afterward she took up Bachelor in Elementary Education at Capitol University but due to financial difficulty she was not able to pursue her education. She previously worked as Promo diser for 1-year, in store Ambasador for 1-year and Sale associate for 1-year. Then she had her maid employment experience in Philippine and served filipino family for 2 years and then she was selected to work in kuwait served 2-employer the kuwaiti and Lebanese families. Currently she is taking care of her own child and doing all household chores in their family while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) This applicant claims to be hard working and a honest person. As an experienced housemaid, she is proficient in doing general housework such as cleaning, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, washing the dishes, ironing and marketing. As a mother, she is expected to be familiar in handling infant and able to attend for their daily needs. She is confident in taking care of young children and capable in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, playing with the children, preparing their school things and uniform and sending and fetching them to and from school. She experienced to take care of her Grandmother who suffered bedridden and she responsible in preparing food and medicine, bathing, changing diaper and clothes and assisting its daily needs. She has knowledge in cooking Filipino and simple arabic dishes and determined to learn more especially in preparing other foreign kinds of dishes.
2) Philippines (1997-1999) served for a Filipino family living in a 3-bedroom Bungalow house with 1-newborn baby and three children ages 3, 10 and 12-years-old. She worked as an all-around helper for the family and she is responsible in doing housekeeping duties such as pressing clothes, doing the laundry, washing the dishes, cleaning the whole house, marketing, cooking, car washing and other house errands as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also accountable in taking care of the baby such as feeding, bathing, change clothe and diaper, give milk, vitamins and medicines if needed, steralize the feeding bottle, play with baby and attending its daily needs. She served the family for 2 years.
3) Kuwait (Jul. 2007 - Oct. 2008 / Oct. 2008 - Jan. 2010) served a kuwaiti family living in a 4-bedroom 2-storey with four adult ages 23, 26, 46 and 50-years-old. She worked as an all-around maid for the family and she is mainly responsible in doing housekeeping duties such as pressing clothes, doing the dishes, washing the dishes, cleaning the whole house, marketing, cooking , gardening, and car washing. She served the family for 1-year and 3-months. Then Oct. 2008, she was transffered to an Lebanese family living in a 7-bedroom 4-storey house with 23-years-old adult then 1-newborn baby and 6-years-old child. She is the personal maid of head of the family, she prepare all the things that needed of the employer and she also an all-around maid the same duties from her previous employer. She served the family for almost 2-years.
4) As she has working experience overseas other than Singapore as she only needs to take the POEA processing in Philippines. She can be deployed faster than new as she will not undergo the one week in house training in Philippines. Recommended salary to be S$500.00
