Introduction
FLORENCE LAYTAY VALENZUELA, a 26-year-old single from Negros Occidental. She is the second child among her 5 siblings. Her 58-year-old mother is a plain housewife but her father already passed away. She finished and graduated secondary education at Camarin National High School year 2002. She previously worked as a sales lady for 6 months and a factory worker for 6 months. She had her maid employment experience in Philippines from 2002 and served a Filipino family with 1 child for 7 years and then she was selected to work in Singapore from 2012 and served 2-Filipino Employers. Currently she is working for a Filipino family living in a HDB with 1-year-old infant.
1) This applicant claims to be hardworking, patient, and reliable person. When it comes to work, she considers herself fast learner and able to work with less supervision. She is proficient in doing household chores such as cleaning, doing the laundry, dish washing, marketing and pressing clothes. She is confident in handling infant and capable in performing basic infant care duties such as preparing milk, feeding, bathing, changing of clothes and diaper and sterilizing baby utensils. She is also capable in taking care of young children and able to attend for their daily needs such as feeding, bathing, playing with the children, preparing their school things and uniform, helping with their homework and studies and bringing and fetching them to and from school. She experienced taking care of her grandmother and she is accountable for its daily feeding, changing its clothes, giving its daily medication and supervising its other needs. She also has skills in cooking Filipino, Simple Chinese , Western, Indian and Malay food but still she is determined to learn more in cooking other foreign dishes if she will be given the chance.
2) Philippines (2002 � 2009) served a Filipino family living in a 2-storey residential house with a 2-year-old child. She is mainly responsible in maintaining the cleanliness of the house, cooking Filipino food and doing other household chores that needed to be done daily. She is also accountable in taking care of the child and attending for its daily needs. She served the family for 7 years as the family migrated to America for good.
3) Singapore (Sep 2012 - June 2013 / June 2013 � present) she served as a full-time housemaid for a Filipino-Singaporean family living in a 3-bedroom condominium flat with 4 children ages 2, 3, 15 and 17. Same with her previous employment in the Philippines, she is mainly responsible in performing general housekeeping duties such as pressing clothes, doing the laundry, washing the dishes, keeping the house in order, cleaning the whole house, marketing, cooking and other domestic errands as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also accountable in taking care of the children and supervising their daily needs. In June 2013 she worked again in Filipino Family living in a HDB with 1-year-old infant. She is in-charge in daily cleaning, cooking and doing other chores. She is also liable in taking care of the child and paying attention for its daily needs.
