Introduction
CRISTINE ACOSTA CABUENAS, a 26-year-old mother of 2 children ages 5 and 8-years-old from Ilocos sur. She is the fourth child among her 6 siblings. Her 55-year-old father and 57-years-old mother worked as a fish vendor. She finished and completed her secondary education at Pascual Rivera Pimentel Memorial Academy and graduated year 2004. She had her maid employment experience in Philippinies and served Filipino family then she selected to worked in the Middle East and served two family the Arab and Chinese family. Currently she is focusing in taking care of her children and doing chores for her family while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) This applicant claims to be hardworking and loyal person. With her several years of experience in doing chores for her own home and with her previous working experience as well, she has knowledgeable in performing general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, washing and ironing of clothes, doing the dishes and marketing. As a mother, she is confident in taking care of infant and able to prepare milk, feed them soft food, bathe and change their clothes and diaper, sterilize baby utensils and checking their body temperature as well. She can also handle young children and capable in performing basic child care duties such as feeding, bathing, playing with them, giving them assistance for their homework and sending and fetching them to and from school. She also experience taking care of her 82-years-old grandmother who suffered from heart Disease and she is liable for its daily feeding, giving its daily medication, bathing, changing diaper and clothes and assisting its other needs. As to her cooking skills, she can prepare Filipino and chinese dishes and interested to learn more especially in cooking other foreign dishes.
2) Philippines (2005 - 2006) served for a Filipino family living in a 4-bedroom bungalow house with three children ages 4, 7 and 8-years-old. She worked as an all-around helper for the family and she is responsible in doing housekeeping duties such as pressing clothes, doing the laundry, washing the dishes, cleaning the whole house, marketing, cooking and other house errands as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also accountable in taking care of the children and attending its other needs.
3) Dubai (2009 - 2011) served a Arab family living in a 6-bedroom 3-storey house with 9-months-old baby, three children ages 9, 11 and 13. There have another maid in the family and she is mainly responsible in doing housekeeping duties such as pressing clothes, doing the dishes, washing the dishes, cleaning the whole house, marketing, car washing and she also taking care of the children and liable in attending and supervising its daily needs. She finished her contract and served the family for 2 years.
4) Hongkong (Aug. 12 - Aug. 30, 2013) served a Chinese family living in a 2-bedrooms condominium with two children ages 2 and 3 also with 70-years-old elder. She worked as an all-around maid for the family and she is mainly responsible in doing housekeeping duties such as pressing clothes, ironing, doing the dishes, washing the dishes, cleaning the whole house, cooking and other house errands as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also accountable in taking care of the children by assisting their basic needs.
5) As she has working experience of more than 2 years overseas other than Singapore as she only needs to take the POEA processing in Philippines. She can be deployed faster than new as she will not undergo the one week in house training in Philippines. Recommended salary to be S$500.00
