Introduction
MICHAELA DIANNE PATRICIO SOTELO, a 23-year-old married to a 21-year-old farmer and blessed to have a 2-year-old child from Alicia, Isabela. She is the eldest child in the family. Her 46-year-old father works as a farmer while her 45-year-old mother is a domestic helper in Singapore. She accomplished her secondary education at Rizal Region National High School year 2006 and afterwards took an Information Technology course at Isabela State University, but she didn�t manage to continue due to financial difficulties. She previously worked as a sales lady in shoe store for 2 months and then she had her maid employment experience in Philippines from 2006 and served a Filipino family for a few months. Currently she is taking care of her child and doing housekeeping for her family while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) As an experienced housemaid, she can be considered well-versed in doing household chores such as cleaning, washing clothes, dish washing, and ironing. As a mother, she is familiar in handling infant and able to attend for their needs. She is also confident in taking care of the young children and she is capable in doing its basic duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school things and uniform, playing with the children during her available time, tutoring basic English and Mathematics, and sending and fetching them to and from school. She is also willing to look after elderly person and prepared to be trained in giving them direct nursing care as required. She also has knowledge in cooking simple dishes and able to prepare and cook Filipino food and determined to learn more especially in cooking other foreign dishes.
2) Philippines (2006) worked for a Filipino family living in a 2-storey residential house. There is another maid for the family and they alternately doing general housekeeping for the family such as doing the laundry, pressing clothes, maintaining the cleanliness of the house, washing the dishes, cooking and other household errands as when they were instructed by their employer and other family member. She decided to continue her college studies after serving the family for a few months.
3) With Maid Employment / experienced in Philippines. After selection to undergo in house Private training in Manila ( Accredited by TESDA ) for a whole week then Training and processing for POEA for deployment. Recommended salary to be S$500.00
