Introduction
NORA LICAYAN RADIN, a 39-year-old mother of an 17-year-old child from San Miguel, Dagohoy, Bohol. She is the 6 to the eldest child among her 9 siblings. Her 73-year-old mother is a plain housewife but her father was already passed away. She accomplished her secondary education at Roman C. Villaba Foundation and graduated year 1993. Then she had her maid employment experience in Kuwait from 2001 and hongkong from 2004. Then in 2005, she was selected to work in Singapore and served 9 families. Currently she is taking care of her only child while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) This applicant claimed to be a Hardworking and Patient person. As an experienced as Housemaid, she can be considered well-versed in doing household chores such as doing the Cleaning, Washing dishes, car and clothes, Cooking, Ironing, Marketing and take care of Babies. She has knowledge in preparing Filipino, Chinese and Indian dishes but still she is eager to learn more especially in cooking other foreign dishes. As a Mother, She is familiar in handling infant and able to assist their needs. She is confident in taking care of young children and capable in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school things and uniform, playing with the children, helping them with their homework and sending and fetching them to and from school. She also experienced taking care of her 83-year-old mobiled employer and she is liable for its daily feeding, giving medicines and supervising its other needs.
2) Kuwaiti (2001 - 2003) served a Kuwaiti family living in a 12-bedroom 3-storey mansion house with 9-years-old child, 18, 22 and 45-years-old adult and also have 96-years-old elderly person. She worked as an all-around maid for the family and she is mainly responsible in doing housekeeping duties such as pressing clothes, serving foods, washing the dishes, cleaning the whole house and cooking. She is also accountable in taking care of the child and assisting its basic needs. There are another maid in the family who assigned to taking care of elderly person. She finished her contract and served the family for 2 years.
3) Hongkong (2004 - 2005) served a Chinese family living in a 3-bedroom HDB house with 9-years-old child, 2 couple ages 30 and also have 2 elder ages 75 and 77. She was an all-around housemaid responsible in keeping the cleanliness of the whole house, washing and ironing of clothes, doing the dishes, marketing, cooking and others as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She served the family for 1-year.
4) Singapore (Nov 2005 - April 2006 / April - May 2006 / May 2006 - April 2010 / April - Dec 2010 / Dec 2010 - May 2011 / July - Sept 2011 / Sept - Dec 2011 / Dec 2011 - Sept 2013 / Sept 2013 - Present) served a Chinese family living in a 3-bedroom HDB house with two adult ages 25 and 33 and also have 80-years-old elderly person. She accountable in taking care of the elder and assisting its daily needs. She also an all-around housemaid for the family and resposible in doing household chores. Then she transfer to Chinese family living in 3-bedrooms condominium with 4-month-old baby and 3-years-old young child. Like her previous employment she worked as an all-around housemaid for the family and responsible in doing her daily duties such as cleaning the house, ironing, washing, cooking and she taknig care of the baby and attending its daily needs as well. In May 2006, she served again to Chinese family living in a 3 bedroom HDB house with adult 40-years-old and 83-years-old elder. She was an all around housemaid for the family and she also taking care of the elderly person and assisting its other needs like preparing food and giving medicines. She served the family for 4-years and finished contract. April 2010, she served again to Indian family living in 4-bedrooms condominium with two children ages 9 and 11 and have two couple. She was an all-around helper for the family and do the cleaning, cooking, car wahing, gardening, ironing and also she taking care of the children and giving its daily needs. In Dec 2010, she transferred again to another Chinese family living in 3-bedroom condominium with newborn baby and 4-years-old young child. Like her previous employer she was an all-around housemaid maintaining the cleanliness of the house, cooking, car washing and she help her employer to assist the newborn baby. In July 2011, she transfer to Chinese family living in a 3-bedroom HDB house with 9-years-old young child. She was an all-around housemaid for the family and responsible in doing her daily duties. Transfer again to Chinese family living in 3-bedrooms HDB house with three adult ages 18, 20 and 25-years-old and 90-years-old elderly person. She was an all-around helper for the family. Then Dec. 2011, worked again to Chinese family living in 3-bedroom HDB house with two children ages 2 and 4-years-old. She focused to taking care of the youngest child and attending its daily needs. And she also an all-around helper for the family. She served the family for 2-years and finished contract. In Sept 2013, she worked for a Chinese family living in a 3-bedroom condominium with newborn baby and 65-years-old elder. She worked as an all-around housemaid for the family and responsible in daily pressing and washing clothes, ironing, doing the dishes, cleaning the whole house, marketing, cooking and other house errands as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She was also responsible in looking after the baby and assisting its daily needs.
