Introduction
ROSALINDA VILLEZA DELGADO, a 30-year-old mother of 5-year-old child from Imus Cavite. She is the seventh child among her 9 siblings. Her 65-year-old mother is a plain housekeeper but her father is already deceased. She finished her secondary education in Sapian National High School and graduated in year 2000. She was not able to pursue her studies in college due to financial difficulties. She started working as a housemaid in the Philippines from 2000 and served 2-Filipino Employers and then she was selected to work in Singapore from 2011 served 2-employers a Indian and Filipino family. Currently she is working in a Filipino Family living in a HDB with 2-childrens ages 4 and 14-years-old.
1) This applicant claims to be hardworking and always does her best at work. She is keep in learning new things and is ready to face any trials. As an experienced housemaid, she can be considered well-versed in doing household chores such as cleaning, washing clothes, dish washing, and ironing. She is also capable of looking after young children and attending to their needs like preparing their food, organizing their uniforms and other needs for school, helping them on their school works, playing with them and bringing and fetching them from school. As a mother, she is confident in doing infant care and its duties like bathing, sterilizing utensils, preparing food, feeding, changing of clothes and diaper, knows how to check body temperature and able to give proper medication if the child feels unwell. She is open with the opportunity in looking after elderly person and prepared to be trained in giving them direct nursing care and supervising their other needs. She has skills in cooking Filipino food and is willing to learn more especially on foreign dishes.
2) Philippines (2000-2006 / 2007-2008) Served Filipino families living in a residential house with children ages 1-4. Basically her duties were household chores, cooking, and child care. Currently, she is serving also 2 Filipino families living in a bungalow house with young children. Same as with her previous employments, she is responsible for doing household chores, look after the children, and cooking. She actually works for 2 families in different houses. At the same time, she also gets extra income for doing manicure & pedicure service and e-loading (selling top-up).
3) Singapore (Jan 2011 - June 2012 / June 2012 - Present) serving an Indian family living in 5-bedroom HDB flat with a 2-year-old child. She worked as an all-around housemaid for the family and she is responsible in doing daily cleaning, washing and ironing of clothes, dish washing, marketing, cooking and others as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also accountable in taking care of the child and performing basic child care duties such as preparing meal, feeding, bathing, changing of clothes and preparing school things. Then June 2012, currently she worked in a Filipino Family living in a 3-bedroom HDB Flat with two children ages 4 and 14-years-old. Same with her previous employers, she is responsible in doing everyday cleaning, washing and ironing of their clothes, washing the dishes, marketing and others as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also in-charge in assisting the basic needs of the children.
