Introduction
EMILY TEJADA CALICA, a 26-year-old single applicant from Bauang La union. She is the eldest child among her 2 siblings. Her 49-year-old father is worked as a tricycle driver while her 55-years-old mother is a plain housewife. She completed her secondary education at Don Eulogio de Guzman National High School and graduated year 2002, afterwards she took up Criminology Computer Program at La union College of Science and Technology but she didn�t manage to continue due to some circumstances. She previously worked as a Sales lady for 1-year and Lady guard for 7-months. Presently, she is seeking for a new employment and helping her family and doing household chores while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) This applicant claims to be hardworking and honest person. With her experience in her own house she can be considered proficient in doing household chores such as washing and ironing of clothes, doing the dishes, marketing and maintaining the tidiness of the house. She is capable in taking care of infant and assist its daily needs. She is also confident in taking care of young children and attending to their needs like, preparing their food, feeding and bathing them, sending and fetching them to school, preparing their clothes and able to help and teach the children on their school works. She also experience looking after her 79-year-old grandmother whosuffer from asthma and she is accountable in preparing for his meal, feeding, changing clothes and diaper, monitoring his daily medication and giving further assistance for their needs. As to her cooking skills, she has the ability in preparing Filipino food and interested to learn more especially in cooking other cuisine.
2.) Though no formal experience as maid in Philippines she considers herself experience as she does all the housework such as cleaning the house, doing the laundry, cooking and others in their household. She also experienced caring for children, younger brother and her nephew. Upon confirmation she will undergo intensive in house training in an accredited center in Manila and POEA training and processing prior to deployment to Singapore prior. Recommended salary S$500.00.
