Introduction
MARIA EMILY SORONIO ALONDAY, a 27-year-old single from Daanbanwa, Lambunao Ilo-ilo. She is the second to the eldest child among her 2 siblings. Her 58-year-old mother is a plain housewife but her father is already passed away. She accomplished her secondary education at Lambunao National High School and graduated year 2004 and then she took up Bachelor of Secondary Education at West Visayas state University graduated year 2008. She previously worked as a cashier for 2-years, Secretary for 8-months and teacher in malaysia for 5-months. Then she had her maid employment experience in Singapore from 2009 and served Chinese family. Currently she is working as a teacher while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) As an experienced housemaid, she is proficient in doing general housework such as cleaning, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, washing the dishes and marketing. She has knowledge in cooking Filipino and simple Chinese dishes and determined to learn more especially in preparing other foreign kinds of dishes. She is familiar in handling infant and able to attend for their daily needs. She is also confident in taking care of young children and she is capable in performing its basic duties such as preparing their meal and snacks, feeding and bathing them, organizing their school things and uniform, helping them with their homework, playing with them and sending and fetching them to and from school. She experienced taking care of her 74 year-old father who suffer from bedridden, arthritis and diabetes. She was responsible in assisting in their daily needs such as feeding, bathing, changing her clothes, and giving her daily medication and other direct nursing care needed. Aside from these duties, she is also willing to do gardening, car washing and able to give care for pets when necessary.
2) Singapore (Nov 2009 - Nov 2011) served a Chinese family living in a 3-bedroom HDB house with 5-months-old baby and 2-years-old young child. There are two maids in the family. She in-charged in taking care of 2-years-old young child and responsible for its daily needs like feeding, bathing, changing clothes and sending and fetching them to and from school. She served the family for 2 years and fininsh contract.
