Introduction
JANICE B. CARACTER, 28-years-old mother of a 4-year-old young child from Mauban, Quezon. She is the fourth child among her 4 siblings. Her 54-year-old father works as a laborer and her 56-year-old mother is a plain housewife. She finished her secondary education at The Sister of Mary School and graduated year 2001. She previously works as a Front desk officer for 2-years, Customer service officer for 1-year and encoder for 6-months. Then she had her maid employment experience in Singapore from 2012 and served Singporean family. Currently, she is doing household chores while waiting her application to be selected in Singapore.
1) As an experienced housemaid, she is proficient in doing general housework such as cleaning, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, washing the dishes cooking, marketing, car washing and gardening and care of pet. She has knowledge in preparing Filipino and simple Chinese dishes but still she is eager to learn more especially in cooking other foreign dishes. As a mother, she has an experience on taking care of infant and young children. She is capable in performing basic infant to child care duties and attending for their other needs as well. She is also looking after her 80-year-old mobiled grandmother and she was in-charge in preparing food, feeding and supervising its other needs.
2) Singapore (July 2012 - July 2013) she worked for a Singaporean family living in a 3-bedroom HDB house with 6-years-old young child. She is an all-around housemaid for the family and responsible in keeping the house clean, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, washing the dishes, cooking, car washing, marketing and other house errands as when she is instructed by her employer. She also taking care of the child and liable in performing basic child care duties like preparing foods and attending its daily needs. She served the family for 1-years.
