Introduction
JOY ROMERO ETRATA, a 33-year-old married to 36-year-old Security Guard and they were blessed of two children ages 6 and 12-years-old from Binalonan, Pangasinan. She is the fifth to the eldest child among her 5 siblings. Her 65-year-old mother is a simple housekeeper but her father is already passed away. She accomplished her secondary education at Binalonan National High School and graduate year 1997. She previously worked as salon therapist for 1-year. She had her maid employment experienced in the Philippines from 1997 and served Filipino Family for 1-year. Currently she is taking care of her children and doing chores for her family while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) This applicant claims to be trustworthy and a hardworking person. As a mother, she is confident in taking care of infant and able to assist their daily needs such as preparing milk, feeding baby food, bathing them, changing their clothes and diaper and sterilizing baby utensils. She is also competent in handling young children and capable in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, playing with the children, preparing their school things and uniform, helping them with their homework and sending and fetching them to and from school. She experienced taking care of her 60-year-old father who suffer from lung cancer and she is liable for attending and supervising her daily needs. She can consider to be well-versed in doing general household chores such as washing and ironing of clothes, doing the dishes, marketing and keeping the whole house clean. She has knowledge in preparing Filipino food and determined to learn more especially in cooking other foreign cuisine.
2) Philippines (1997 - 1998) served for a Filipino family living in a 2-bedroom 2-storey house with a two children ages 13 and 15 and also have 60-years-old elderly person. She worked as an all-around helper for the family and she is responsible in doing housekeeping duties such as pressing clothes, doing the laundry, washing the dishes, cleaning the whole house, marketing, cooking and other house errands as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also accountable in taking care of the children and attending its daily needs. She served the family for 1-year.
3) With Maid Employment / experienced in Philippines. After selection to undergo in house Private training in Manila ( Accredited by TESDA ) for a whole week then Training and processing for POEA for deployment.Recommended salary to be S$500.00
