Introduction
JONALYN PANGANIBAN MANALIGOD, a 29-year-old married to a 34-year-old farmer and blessed to have 2 children ages 4 and 6 from Jones, Isabela. She is the eldest child among her 4 siblings. Her 49-year-old father works as a farmer while her 49-year-old mother works as simple housekeeper. She accomplished her secondary education at Do�a Magdalena H. Gassud High School and graduated year 1999 and afterwards took a degree in Elementary Education at Isabela State University but she didn�t manage to continue because of financial difficulty. She previously worked as a sales lady from 2004 until 2005. She had her maid employment experience in the Philippines from 1999 until 2004 and then she was selected to work in Singapore from 2011 and served a Chinese family living in an HDB flat for more than a year. In March 2013, she was selected to work once again in Singapore and currently serving an Indian family.
1) A responsible applicant and well experienced mother in handling infant and able to attend for their daily needs such as preparing milk, feeding them soft food, changing their clothes and diaper, sterilizing baby utensils and checking their body temperature. She is also confident in looking after young children and she can perform basic child care duties such as feeding, bathing, organizing their school things, playing with them, giving assistance for their studies and sending and fetching them to and from school. She is also willing to look after mobile elderly and willing to be trained in giving them direct nursing care when needed. She is also a reliable worker around the household, can work with or without supervision and accepts the need to improve her work to meet up with her employers expectations. She has knowledge in preparing and cooking Filipino, Chinese, Indian and simple Western food and interested to learn more in cooking other foreign cuisine.
2) Philippines (1999 � 2004) served a Filipino family living in a landed house. She worked as an all-around maid and she is responsible in keeping the cleanliness of the house, cooking and doing other chores needed. Then she was transferred to her employer�s daughter, living in a 2-bedroom apartment flat with a newborn child. Same with her previous employment, she is fully in-charge in doing housekeeping errands. She is also accountable in taking care of the child and she is liable in performing basic infant care duties. After 6 months, the family decided to migrate to Dubai and she was transferred to her employer�s brother, living in a 2-bedroom apartment flat with 2 children ages 9-month-old and 3. She is in-charge in doing maintaining the tidiness of the house and looking after the children as well. After 3 years of her service, the family migrated to America for good.
3) Singapore (Apr 2011 � Oct 2012 / Mar 2013 - present) worked for a Chinese family living in a 4-bedroom HDB flat with 2 children ages 3 and 5 and an elderly. She is responsible in doing daily cleaning, washing and ironing of their clothes, washing the dishes and other chores as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also helping Amah in cooking and does marketing as well. She is also accountable in taking care of the children, helping them with their homework and supervising them with their other needs. Currently she is working for an Indian family living in a 3-bedroom condominium flat with a 5-month-old child. She is mainly in-charge in doing housekeeping duties such as cleaning the whole house, washing and ironing of clothes, doing the dishes, marketing, cooking and other errands as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member.
