Introduction
MELODY GUZMAN BATALAO, a 27-year-old married to 28-years-old farmer and they blessed to have 2 children ages 19 months old and 5 from Tabuk, Kalinga Apayao. She is the sixth child among her 9 siblings. Her 60-years-old father works as a farmer while her 50-year-old mother is a plain housewife. She accomplished her secondary education at Tabuk National High School and graduated year 2002. Then she took up Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education but was not able to pursue her education due to financial difficulties. She had her maid employment experienced in the Philippines from 2004 and served three families and then she was selected to work in Singapore and presently working for a Chinese family.
1) This applicant claims to be hardworking and honest. She can be considered well-versed in doing daily household duties such as cleaning, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, doing the dishes and marketing. With her previous experience as a housemaid and as a mother, she is familiar in handling infant and able to assist their needs. She is also confident in taking care of young children and she is capable in preparing their daily meal, feeding and bathing them, organizing their school things and uniform, playing with them and sending and fetching them to and from school. She also experienced taking care of 85-years-old bedridden person who suffer from Arthritis and she is accountable for her daily bathing, giving her medication and supervising her other needs as well. As to her cooking abilities, she is capable in cooking Filipino food and determined to learn more in cooking other foreign dishes if given the chance.
2) Philippines (2004 - 2005 / 2006 - 2007 / 2007 � 2008) served a Filipino family living in a condominium flat with an 85-year-old bedridden female person with arthritis. There are another two maid in the family. Her main duty was to look after the daily needs of the elderly such as bathing, feeding, changing diaper, monitoring medicines and other direct nursing care and she also worked as an all-around housemaid for the family maintaining the cleanliness of the house, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, washing the dishes, cooking and others as when she is instructed by her employer. She went home to pursue her education. In 2006, she transfer to Filipino family living in bungalow house with 2-adults. Like her previous employer she works as an all-around helper for the family and she responsible in doing housekeeping duties. Then in 2007, she served again to Filipino family living in a 4-bedroom 2-storey house with 4-months-old baby and two adult. She was responsible in looking after the baby needs and like her previous employer also works as an all around housemaid.
3) Singapore (Sept 2013 - Present) worked for a Chinese family living in 4-bedrooms HDB flat with 3-children ages 10 and 8-years-old twins. She worked as an all-around housemaid for the family and she is responsible in maintaining the cleanliness of the whole house, doing the laundry, pressing clothes, washing the dishes, marketing, ironing and others as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also accountable in taking care of the children and assist its daily needs.
4) Employment History of the maid from MOM records available for prospective employer�s reference and verification. Maids can be interviewed by phone upon request. She can be deployed faster than the rest as they don�t require training, only the POEA Training and processing for Filipino Household Service worker for Overseas. Recommended salary is S$500.00
