Introduction
ELLYN CARDEJON VILLARIAS, 30 years old married to a 32 year old government employee and blessed to have 2 children ages 5 (boy) and 2 year old (boy). She is from Roxas, Palawan. She is the second child among 6 siblings. Her 51 year old father is a farmer while her 50 year old mother is a health worker. She finished her secondary education at Roxas National Comprehensive School year 2000. She then took up Bachelor of Science in Education but due to financial difficulty she was not able to pursue her degree. She had her maid employment experience in the Philippines year Apr 2001- Mar 2002 in a Filipino family, living in a 4-bedroom bungalow house with 4 children ages 10, 6, 2 (girls) and 1 year old (boy). Then in Jan 2004 - Feb 2005 she worked for another Filipino Family living in a 3 bedroom bungalow house with 2 children ages 3 year old (girl) and an 8 month old (boy). Currently, she takes care of her children and doing household chores while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) The applicant claims to be hardworking, trustworthy and patient when it comes to doing her work. As an experienced housemaid, she can be considered well versed in performing general household chores such as cleaning and keeping the house in order, laundry and pressing clothes, washing the dishes and marketing. She has skills in cooking Filipino food and willing to learn how to cook other dishes. As a mother, she is also familiar in handling infant and young children and capable in performing basic infant and child care duties, attending to their other needs as well. She also experienced looking after her 85-year old grandmother with heart problem. She assisted her grandmother in feeding, bathing, and giving her medications and attending to her other personal needs. This applicant is also willing to be trained in performing and giving direct nursing care to elderly person. She is willing to do car washing, marketing, gardening, care of pets and can follow recipe book in cooking.
2) Philippines (Apr 2001 � Mar 2002 / Jan 2004 - Feb 2005) worked for a Filipino family living in a 4-bedroom bungalow house with 4 children ages 10,6,2 (girls) and a 1 year old (boy). She was an all-around maid doing household chores such as cleaning, laundry and pressing clothes, washing the dishes, cooking and looking after the children. Then in Jan 2004, she was then hired to worked for another Filipino family living in a 3-bedroom bungalow house with 2 children ages 3 year old (girl) and an 8 month old (boy). Like her previous employer she also worked as an all- around housemaid.
3) With Maid Employment / experienced in Philippines. After selection to undergo two weeks in house Private training in Manila ( Accredited by TESDA ) then Owwa seminar, POEA processing of employment documents for deployment. Recommended salary to be S$500.00
