LANIE ACOSTA HUFALAR, 24 year old mother and blessed to have a 2 year old daughter from Sto. Tomas, La Union. She is the second child among 2 siblings. Her 48 year old father is a farmer while her 45 year old mother is an Overseas foreign worker. She finished her secondary education at Bael National High School year 2005. She then took up Bachelor of Science in Education at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University graduated year 2010. She had her maid employment experience in the Philippines in 2007 - 2010 in a Filipino family, living in a 1-bedroom flat with 2 children ages 14 year old (boy) and 12 year old (girl). Currently, she takes care of her child and doing household chores while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) The applicant claims to be honest, hardworking, trustworthy and patient when it comes to doing her work. As an experienced housemaid, she can be considered well versed in performing general household chores such as cleaning and keeping the house in order, laundry and pressing clothes, washing the dishes and marketing. She has skills in cooking Filipino food and willing to learn how to cook other dishes. As a mother, she is also familiar in handling infant and young children and capable in performing basic infant and child care duties, attending to their other needs as well. She also experienced looking after her 85-year old grandmother with heart problem. This applicant is willing to look after an elderly person and also willing to be trained in performing and giving direct nursing care. She is willing to do car washing, marketing, gardening, care of pets and can follow recipe book in cooking.
2) Philippines (2007-2010) worked for a Filipino family living in a 1-bedroom flat with 2 children ages 14 year old (boy) and a 12 year old (girl). She was a part-time all-around housemaid doing household chores such as cleaning, laundry and pressing clothes, washing the dishes, cooking and looking after the children needs. She was given the opportunity by her employer to finish her college education while working for the family. She served them for 3 years.
3) With Maid Employment / experienced in Philippines. After selection to undergo two weeks in house Private training in Manila ( Accredited by TESDA )then Owwa seminar, POEA processing of employment documents for deployment. Recommended salary to be S$500.00
