Dahlia, widowed with 1 child age 13, is the eldest in her family. She is very experienced in eldercare. Before she came to Singapore, she has worked in Malaysia for 2 years, the family has 3 adults including a 83 years old lady staying in a 2-storey terrace house. Dahlia took good care of the old lady because the lady has stroke. She was in charge of general household chores. She has worked in Singapore for a Chinese family with 6 people staying in a 4 bedrooms flat, the family has an old lady and 3 children ages 12, 17 & 21, and a small dog when she joined them. The old lady can walk but sometimes use a wheel chair. Both her sir and madam are working, and the sir is working in Indonesia, Dahlia was mainly in charge of house cleaning, taking care of the old lady & children and cooking. She finished her contract. Her last employment of almost 3.6 years was with another Chinese eldery couple and their adult son staying in a shophouse. Ah ma is still healthy but ah kong is wheelchair bound and needs assistance with all his daily activities. Dahlia is strong built and showers ah kong, feeds him medicine, brings him for exercises and to hospitals. She also cooks and does the household chores. She can cook well. She speaks good English and can also speak / understand a little Hokkien and little bit mandarin.
