MARITES BASILA EVANGELISTA, 36 year old single from Alabat, Quezon. She is the eldest child among her 8 siblings. Her 57 year old father is a farmer while her 61 year old mother is a housekeeper. She finished her secondary education Alabat Island National High School year 1994. She previously worked as a service crew for 5 years. She had her maid employment experience in Philippines from June 1996 to Aug 2000 served a Filipino family for 4 years. On Sep 2009 - Dec 2011, she worked for another Filipino Family for 2 years. Then in May 2012 she was selected to work in Singapore and served 2 Chinese Families. Currently, she is doing household chores for her family while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) The applicant claims to be responsible, independent and hardworking. As an experienced housemaid, she can be considered skilled and flexible in performing household chores such as cleaning and keeping the house in order, laundry and pressing of clothes, wash the dishes, marketing and gardening. She is also confident in taking care of young children and she is capable in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, giving assistance for their studies, playing with the children, organizing their school things and bringing and fetching them to there school. She is willing to look after mobile elderly person and prepared to be trained in giving them direct nursing care when needed. She has knowledge in preparing and cooking Filipino and Chinese dishes and willing to learn how to cook foreign dishes if given the chance. Aside from those duties she is also willing to do car washing, and care for pets when necessary.
2) Philippines (June 1996 - Aug 2000 / Sept 2009 - Dec 2011) June 1996, served for a Filipino family living in a 3-bedroom bungalow house with 3 children ages 6, 8,10 year old. She works as an all-around housemaid and was responsible in doing daily cleaning, washing and ironing of their clothes, washing the dishes, marketing, cooking and other household chores as when she is instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also accountable in taking care of the children and giving them enough attention for their daily needs. She worked for the family for 4 years. On Sept 2009, worked for another Filipino Family living in a bungalow house with 2 children ages 8 and 4 year old. Like her previous employer she was an all-around housemaid. She worked for the family for more than 2 years.
3) Singapore (May 2012 - Dec 2012 / Dec 2012 - Dec 2013) On May 2012, she worked for a Chinese family living in a 3 bedroom HDB with 3 children 6 and 4 year old and an infant. She is working as a full-time housemaid for the family and she is responsible in doing daily cleaning the house, washing and ironing of their clothes, washing the dishes, marketing, occasionally cooking Indian dishes and other household chores as instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also responsible in taking care of the children and giving them enough attention for their daily needs. On Dec 2012, she transferred and served another Chinese family living in an HDB with 2 teenagers 13 and 18 year old. Like her previous employer, she maintains the cleanliness of the house and does all other household duties instructed by her employer.
