| Karima or Rima as she is known is a 33 yr old high school grad with a 11 yr old son. Worked 3 yrs in Oman, 2 yrs Dubai, went back and worked 3 yrs as maid in Jakarta the came here finishing 2 yrs contract in arch 2014. Weak in English because she had to pick up Arabic (which she did & speaks fairly well now) while she was in the Mid East for 5 yrs. Even here in Singapore her employer talked to her in Malay. She only got to practice her English when she spoke to the kids. She wishes to find an employer where she can get to converse in an only-English-speaking environment. Still, we were impressed that she did finally write this bio data out by herself in the English she knows (we made minor changes for readability purposes). We have decided to take her under our fold too despite her level of English because we admire her determination & perseverance. After all, she did pick up Arabic fast. Also, some of the things she says to describe herself did make an impact on us. She says her employers like her work & say that she is hardworking; they also enjoy her cooking, esp her Indonesian dishes; says "i am always happy & smile because if we happy, my job not so hevy"; "if my Sunday off i always make cake or other food for my children (before i go out) because my children like to eat". We can feel that her heart is in the right place & that she must have been well liked by her employers for her dedication to her work & responsibilities. Rima is available in end March & is seeking $550 with Sundays off. |
