Introduction
NORMA CASPILLO MAGBANUA, a 33 year old mother of two children ages 10 a girl and 2 a boy from Bingawan, Ilo-ilo City. She is the eight child among her 10 siblings. Her 74 year old father is a farmer while her 63 year old is a housekeeper. She finished her secondary education at Bingawan National High School year 2001, then she pursue her course in Commerce but didn't manage to finish due to some circumstances. She had her maid employment experience at Hong-kong from January 2001 - October 2003 served Chinese family for 2-years and Taiwan from January 2005 to June 2011 served two Taiwanese Family for 6-years. Currently, she takes care her children and doing household chores for her family while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) The applicant claims to be hardworking and trustworthy . She can be considered well-versed in doing daily household duties such as cleaning and keeping the house in order, laundry and pressing of clothes, wash the dishes, cooks Filipino foods. As a mother she is also familiar in handling infant and young children and capable in performing basic infant to child care duties and attending for their other needs as well. She is also willing to look after elderly person and prepared to be trained in giving them direct nursing care and perform necessary duties that needed. She knows how to do marketing, gardening, car washing, and care of pets. As to her cooking abilities, she is capable in cooking Filipino and Chinese foods. She wants to learn more cooking other foreign dishes.
2) Hong-kong (January 2001 - October 2003) served an Chinese family living in a 3-bedrooms HDB with a 73 year old male elder who suffered from stroke. Her work is focus on attending the needs of the elder such as feeding, bathing, toiletries, change clothes and diaper, also she is the one who administer the medicines. She also do household chores such as cleaning the house, laundry and pressing clothes, washing dishes , cooking and marketing. She served the family for 2-years and finish contract.
3) Taiwan ( January 2005 - March 2007 / March 2007 - June 20011) On January 2005, she served a Taiwanese family living in a 3-bedrooms HDB with two boys ages 4 and 2. She worked as an all-around maid for the family and she is mainly responsible in doing housekeeping duties such as cleaning and keeping the house in order,pressing clothes, washing the dishes, marketing, cooking and other house errands as instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also responsible in taking care of the children and giving them enough attention for their daily needs. She served the family for 2-years and finish contract. Then on March 2007, she worked in a Taiwanese family living in a 6-bedrooms 2-storey house with a 2 year old boy also two elders ages 75 male and 65 female. Like her previous employer she worked as an all-around housemaid and liable in keeping the cleanliness of the house and other household tasks that needed to be done daily. She is also in-charge in assisting the basic needs of the child. She also assist the 65 year old female elder who suffered from diabeties. She attends and supervise his other needs. She served the family for 4-years and finish the contract.
4) She has working experience of more than 2 years overseas. She can be deployed faster than new applicant as she will only undergo one week in house training, OWWA seminar, POEA processing of employment documents in the Philippines Recommended salary to be S$500.00.
