Introduction
MARIA SHELLANE DEL ROSARIO ARA�EZ, 25 year old mother of a 1 year old daughter from Kawayan, Negros Occidental. She is the second child among her 2 sisters. Her 60 year old father is a farmer while her 48 year old mother is a vegetable vendor. She finished her secondary education at Saint Columban Academy year 2005, then she pursue her four years course in Bachelor of Agriculture graduated year 2010. She previously work as Loan Officer for 3-months and Service Crew for 6-months. She had her maid employment experienced in the Philippines from August 2005 to March 2006 and served a Filipino family. Currently, she takes care of her child and doing household chores for her family while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) The applicant claims to be honest and hard working. As an experienced housemaid, she can be considered skilled and flexible in performing household chores such as cleaning and keeping the house in order, laundry and pressing of clothes, wash the dishes, marketing and gardening. As a mother, she is confident in taking care of infant and capable in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, giving assistance for their studies, playing with the children, organizing their school things and bringing and fetching them to there school. She is willing to look after mobile elderly person and prepared to be trained in giving them direct nursing care when needed. She has knowledge in preparing and cooking Filipino food and willing to learn how to cook foreign dishes if given the chance. Aside from those duties she is also willing to do car washing and care for pets when necessary.
2) Philippines (August 2005 - March 2006) she served a Filipino family living in a 2-bedroom 2-storey house with 60 year old female elder who suffered from mild stroke. She was an all-around maid and responsible in doing household chores such as cleaning the house, laundry and ironing of clothes, washing the dishes, marketing, cooking and other errands as instructed by her employer and other family member. She is also responsible on attending the needs of the 60 year old elder such as feeding, bathing, toiletries, change clothes and diaper, also she is the one who administer the medicines.
3) With Maid Employment / experienced in Philippines. After selection to undergo two weeks in house Private training in Manila ( Accredited by TESDA ) then OWWA seminar and processing of POEA employment documents for deployment. Recommended salary to be S$500.00
