Introduction
CHRISTINE MAY SANTOS PURA, a 25 year old single from Camarine, Caloocan City. She is the third child among her 9 siblings. Her 49 year old father is a construction worker while her 55 year old mother is a housekeeper. She finished her secondary education at Gregorio Perfecto High School year 2007. She previously worked as Dish Washer for 3-months and Factory Worker for 4-months. Currently, she is working as dealer of beauty product while waiting for her application in Singapore to be selected.
1) The applicant claims to be honest, hardworking, patient and trustworthy . Being the third child in the family, she takes care of he brothers and sisters when growing. She is confident enough in taking care of infant and able to attend their needs such as preparing their meal, feeding and bathing them, changing their clothes and diaper, sterilize baby utensils and checking their body temperature. She can also handle young children and capable in performing child care duties such as feeding, bathing, preparing their school things, playing with the children, giving assistance for their homework and studies and bringing and fetching them to there school. For 6-months she took care her 54 year old late grandmother who suffered from diabeties. She is responsible for her daily bathing, giving her medication and supervising her other needs as well. With her personal experience in her own house she can also be considered to be efficient and well-versed in doing household chores such as keeping the house orderly and clean , doing the laundry and pressing clothes, washing the dishes and marketing. As to her cooking skills, she has the ability in cooking Filipino food and determined to learn other dishes given the chance. She is eager to work in Singapore as she wanted to help her family in their financial needs and to have a secured savings for her future as well.
2) Though no formal experience as maid in Philippines she considers herself experience as she does all the housework such as cleaning the house laundry, cooking and others in their household. She also experienced caring her younger brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and cooks for the family. Upon confirmation she will undergo intensive in house training for two weeks in an accredited center in Manila then OWWA seminar and POEA processing of employment documents prior to deployment to Singapore. Recommended salary S$500.00.
